Maine is a state in the New England and Northeastern Regions of the United States. It borders the states of New Hampshire to the west, New Quebec to the northeast, New Brunswick to the northwest and west, and the Gulf of Maine to the south. The largest state by total area in New England, Maine is the 12th Smallest by Area, and the 30th most populous of the 80 U.S. states (stats may need updated).
