Project Midnight (often shorted to just "PM") is our main project, and open-world, free, highly explorable driving game built on Roblox. Started in 2018, by Team Orbit (the predecessor group that eventually became Cube Studios) it was originally supposed to be a racing game similar the Midnight Club series, but quickly the scope changed to a BeamNG-esqe openly explorable driving game, with planned racing and roleplay features.
Name
The name "Project Midnight" is from the game it originally meant to copy, Midnight Club. Another Cube Studios project, Project South Ridge (PSR) was merged into PM in 2021, the existing maps inside PM before the merge became the Modern universe, and the PSR maps became the Tellus universe.

The current PM logo is an evolution of logos. The very first logo used the three spikes on the end and that concept was dropped for a long time before being picked back up in 2021. The gradient is a middle ground between the colors used to represent the Tellus and Modern universes. It's font is a modified version of Corporation Games Straight.
