The Arcadian Federation, commonly known as Arcadia, is a country on the primary continent of Tellus. It is a federal union of 11 states, the federal territory of Arcadianapolis & Port Valais, and 47 Native territories and reservations. Arcadia is bordered on the east by the Orbit Empire, and on the west, Trockenland, Bohemia, and Wolfsburg. to the north lies the Arctic Treaty Neutrality Zone, and to the south, the western edge of the Palencian Ocean. The Country has the worlds second-largest land area, and largest population, exceeding 370 million.
Paleo-Natives migrated across the Wolkenkratzer Mountains more than 15,000 years ago, and went on to form various civilizations and societies in the northern regions of arcadia. early Proto-Trockenlandian peoples migrated east from modern day trockenland to establish various areas that would later be unified under the Holy Union of States in the 800s, which would become the first Trockenland Empire by 1250. in 1521, King Arthur I of Trockenland would lead a small army to a small island between the Sea of Arcadia and the Gulf of Arcadia, pushing out the native Algonquins and establishing Ostfestung, a fort that would act as a launching point for the failed siege of the native settlement of Onondaga. by 1790, the Trockenlandian Empire was starting to desentigrate from civil war, around the same time settlers from the Orbit Empire started moving west from Emperia and Vibe, with a lot of these settlers joining in to help the newly separated regions of Trockenland fight for independence, and in 1799 jointly signed the Articles of Federation, officially creating the Arcadian Federation.
